Psalm 119:5 "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path."
2 Peter 1:19 "We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts."
How easy it is to be deceived, believing what we want rather than what is. But God's word is eternal, and His will does not change. What He proclaimed to be wrong long ago is still wrong today. There is no rewriting of scripture just to suit human whim and will.
